Marvin Setup Information

Marvin was developed to be so effective at stopping spam, that we designed him to be a set-it-and-forget-it program. If you choose our Automatic Recommended Settings we will push effective spam settings to your account. That means once Marvin is configured for your e-mail address and spam is being Marvin was developed to be effective at stopping spam efficiently captured, there is no need to go back into Marvin unless a message needs to be retrieved or a configuration is needed to be adjusted.

Whether the person configuring Marvin is a novice or expert, the instructions for setting up Marvin are easy to follow. Under the Support link above, there are links to the actual set up instructions (quick set up and detailed set up), descriptions about Marvin's processes (tools) and documentation about Marvin.

Get Started

Current Sihope Customers
Current Sihope customer that have an @sihope.com e-mail address can click on the First Time User link and enter in the e-mail address to register with Marvin. A password will be sent to that e-mail address. Use the e-mail address registered and the password just received and sign into Marvin. Begin configuring Marvin to stop viruses and spam from showing up in your e-mail!

*NOTE* Don't forget to print out the Quick Start Set Up Guide or Detailed Set Up Instructions before signing in. Use those instructions to set up Marvin.

Have Personal Domain Name
Individuals with personal domain names can have Marvin protect their family with or without changing their current Internet provider or host. Please call Sihope at 952-548-2000 or e-mail marvin@sihope.com to discuss how to activate Marvin.

Currently with another ISP
Any ISP can have Marvin protect their customers. If interested in having a current ISP help protect families, contact them and tell them to go to http://marvin.sihope.com and start getting protected.
