If you are listed as the domain holder for any domain name(s), you have access to additional options. This is what you should see:

"You are responsible for the following domains:" A table lists each domain name that you are responsible for, followed by indicators for each process. By clicking on a domain name within the table you are brought to a page that has settings specific to that domain. You will see the following:

• Automatic Recommended Sysem Settings. You may toggle the automatic settings activation by clicking the On/Off button.
• Marvin is On/Off. You may toggle Marvin on or off by clicking the on/off link.
• Allow users is On/Off. You may toggle whether or not to allow users to set their own Marvin configuration settings. Additional information regarding the Allow Users can be found below.
• Domain Override is On/Off. You may toggle whether the domain settings will override every individual configuration account within the domain. Additional information regarding the Domain Override can be found below.
• Skin Selection. You may decide which skin applies to each individual domain.
• Domain Managers. You may add or delete domain managers for your domain. Domain managers have the ability to modify domain specific configuration settings. Domain Managers recieve e-mail reports listing the captured spam for review.

There is also a table listing the configuration settings for each of the e-mail addresses listed within your domain. You may adjust individual settings on a user by user basis by clicking the hyperlinked user address.

As the domain owner, you have the full authority to control the settings for each domain. You can either configure the Marvin Processes to affect all e-mail addresses for the domain, or you can allow each individual e-mail address to configure their own mailbox. The processes all work the same and you can read about each one by going to the specific page.

Override
The domain override option is to allow the domain holder to override all individual user settings for that domain. This is available in order to react to any crisis that may occur. For example, when the I Love You bug was going around, the domain holder could have turned the Domain Override on and add the subject I Love You to the blacklist. Then all mail sent with that subject would have been blocked and thus would have avoided the crisis.

In essence, if the domain override is on, the settings specified for the domain by the domain holder overrides all individual settings set by users of that domain. To turn this on, just click the Domain Override is Off link. It should then read Domain Override is On to let you know it is on. To turn it off, click the link again and it should say Domain Override is Off.

Allow Users
The domain holder can allow other people who use e-mail with the domain to set their own Marvin settings. Each user of the domain would need to create an account, get their password and log in. They would then go to each Marvin process and configure them for their mailbox. All settings would be specific to their e-mail address only. However, if they do not configure one or more of the processes, the domain holder settings would default. So for example, if e-mail user1 configures the whitelist, blacklist, DNSBL, report and Razor but does not set any delay time, the delay time that is specified by the domain holder for that domain will be used.

To turn this feature on, the domain holder can click the link that says Allow users is Off. It should then turn to Allow users is On.
