Marvin Modules Marvin is a framework for processing e-mail that empowers the user to
decide how to best When we designed Marvin, we designed it for the future. As spam and viruses change, so must e-mail protection. Spammers will always find ways around the current spam protection systems, and when that happens, new anti-spam techniques can be added to Marvin seamlessly. In fact, Marvin has already seen one upgrade when we added a third-party product called SpamAssassin. What are the modules used to protect your e-mail? Once logged in, a menu is displayed with a list of modules to configure, along with a brief description about each one. These configuration screens define Marvin's behavior for individual mailboxes or entire domains. Below are the modules Marvin currently has available. Learn about each one to see the many ways Marvin will eliminate unwanted spam and viruses from your e-mail.
When a legitimate e-mail is flagged as spam, it is sent to a holding area rather than being deleted. With the click of a button, rejected messages can be recalled immediately. To make Marvin even more user-friendly, an e-mail report is sent periodically listing the date, subject, and sender address of all messages that were rejected since your last report. This allows you to glance over filtered messages without having to open your web browser and login to the Marvin web site Of course, you choose how often reports are sent.
